I posted a few days back about Elliot loosing one of his bottom inscissors. Well, I noticed he wasnt going for through his carrot as he usually does, so I checked his teeth, and his other bottom inscissor isrreally wobbly, so when that falls out, he will have no bottom teeth! I grated his veggies tonight, and he managed fine with that, but should I be worried? He doesnt seem in pain, and seems generally fine in himself. He was out playing before and was running round like a good un, all curious and cheeky as usual! I think he lost one tooth and made the other wobbly by biting too hard on the
skirting board (as he does!). My poor baby. I was going to take him to the vet, but the vet cant put him a bottom set of false teeth in!

Also, with food, I am going to grind his pig mix (museli) up to tiny pieces, and grate all his veggies. Will my little elliot-pig be ok?

it sounds as if your piggy may have had some kind of knock or ran into something that broke his teeth beneath the gumline and as they have continued growing have then become loose and then fallen out.

as piggies teeth constantly grow you should see his teeth growing back quite quickly. in the meantime grating his veg as you are will enable him to pick things up to eat without having to bite off pieces.

keep an eye on his top teeth as without bottom teeth to wear against they may start to over grow and need to be burred back a little by an experienced vet.
