As you may have seen in other threads, My little Kay has been diagnosed with a UTI and given a course of antibiotics, I am abroad next week and the boys where going to be taken care of by my nan. But even tho i could give him his full course cuz his last dose is on monday and i leave monday night. Because my nan is partially blind she would not see if he was ill or not eating and has no car or mobility to get him seen to in an emergency.
So i am looking for places that could take them in the Essex area (i live in romford) from this sunday, Give him his last dose on monday and be able to recognise if he is going downhill until the following Tuesday. I am currently in the process of emailing places i have found in a google search but any other options you guys can come up with would be greatly welcomed as i feel like I'm facing a brick wall here.

Oh and money is not an issue.

Wrong button, didn't mean to Thank You!

Anyway, is he indoor? If you can get to me in Hassocks in Sussex I will gladly help?!

Yes they are indoor pigs, Thank you so much for your offer you are about an hour and a half drive away so I'm gonna look at boarding places in the area first. But it is a great relief to know i have someone there that is willing!

I'm willing to also! i am miles away though! one of mine is on meds atm so it wouldnt be an issue!

I would happily take them for the week if I was living alone, but seeing as I don't, I highly doubt I could take them for the week, but I am wondering what vets you use? Mine is great with the cats, but not sure what they are like with smaller creatures. Sorry to go off topic!

Looks like this might be covered here, but if your stuck I'm in Borehamwood South Hertfordshire/North London boarder. Ive got a herd living indoors so having a few more to look after for a while wouldnt be a problem. I'm a Vet nurse, not problems with meds. PM me if you need me or your stuck. I hope it all goes ok.

x.

I think i am unable to PM people because i do not have a lot of posts yet, but people can contact me at [email protected]

I think ill wait till tomorrow nd see how the boardings in my area get back to me before i make any definate decisions, But I'm not getting my hopes up for any of them to have space or be willing to take an ill piggie. thank you everyone for your support, you are all amazing people!

Somewhere up in Brentwood is going to take them! :<>

this place looked so proffessional on the site i was sure they were going to be fully booked!
But got an email literally a few minutes later saying they had spaces and she says she used to be a vet nurse so will be able to keep an eye on Kay. The booking form asked loads of questions which reassured me she knows whats shes doing.

I am so relieved! Thanks everyone for your offers of help iv said it before but you guys are amazing people.

I don't think they will wanna come home! Leo will be won over by veggies and Kay will come round with a bit of apple. the dog is going to be spoilt at my nans so now i can finally look forward to my holiday. :<>
