Pig is grinding teeth. Soft poops. May be some hooty breathing but nostrils clear. Unsure if belly is distended or sounds hollow. On way to vet now, waiting for transport. She's been acting normal until now.

Gut is saying either bloat or heart. Opinions please, acting as fast as I can, need to go to vets asking right questions.

She's a 10 month old female abyssinian, weight is sustaining over last few weeks. Normally bright and perky and very playful.

The teeth grinding usually indicates pain of some sort. I'm not that experienced so hoping someone answers soon. You're doing the right thing going to the vets.

Teeth grinding can be a symptom of pain. All the best at the vets!

It's gas, not severe. But enough to be causing her discomfort. Found out that hubby has been giving them too much kale. She has zantac and loxicum. 0.4ml loxicum twice a day and 0.2ml zantac twice a day.

Home with her. I think the car journey did her some good, she made lots of poops and they're a bit firmer. Did her meds, have her belly a good rub, she's currently running around her cage and eating hay

Aw poor little mite! Hope both your babies are feeling better soon!

Healing vibes coming your way, with cuddles a plenty

A few hours on and she is bright as a button. Popcorning and playing with her cagemate. No more teeth grinding and her tummy is soft. We caught it very early, it seems. Will keep a close eye on her for a few days, plenty of belly rubs and exercise and finish course of medicine, withhold veg for a little while too. But she already seems back to her normal self.

Oh, and OH has had the telling off of his life too!
