Sorry I am a little confused by your question. Threads don't end as such they just don't get replied to. We don't close threads they just get bumped down. Any queries please drop me a private message.

One time I was on this website, and I knew the answer to the question so I wanted to reply. At the bottom, it said that the thread had ended and that it wasn't taking any more responses.

Yes,. threads auto close after a year to stop them from being dredged up
