Are these ok for piggys?

They contain endive lettuce, red and white cabbage, grated carrot and red peppers.

I bought one for my pigs as they were reduced to 10p in asda and they like it and was thinking when i have to leave them with my brother on weekends when i go camping in the summer, it would be handy for me to leave a bag for him.

Thanks. :)

They are fine, I buy them when they're whoopsie'd too, although mine don't like the 'prepared' carrot for some reason. Good idea leaving mixed bags with someone though to make sure your piggies get different things while you're away. I just try and get the ones without carrot now though. xx

mine like carrots cut like that they prefer them that way and wont leave any whereas they are on and off with carrots cut by me but they can sod off if they think I'm cutting carrots that small for them :))

Thats handy to know, as i normally spend ages chopping up different veg and making sure there is enough for two days and putting in different bowls and labelling it. Can you tell i have a spot of OCD. rolleyes

:)) I used to do that and we would only be gone a fe hours, always made sure my friend had stuff to give them just incase we were involved in an accident :red

sounds like a plan. Last year when I was on holiday I left mum with a stupid list. Half a medium carrot per two piggies every three days, 2 inches of cucumber cut up for two piggies every two days :)) I can't really remember the instructions now but I wrote for 3 a4 sides about weighing nuggets, washing food bowls, what to wash them in what cloth to use and what to dry them with :))

when you go away it makes you realise when you have to right out step by step instructions what work goes into the pigs. it also makes whoever is looking after them think you are mad :))

I remember saying in my instructions "they will only eat carrots and cucumber in baton shapes" it is true they won't touch a round carrot or cucumber but it sounds crazy! :))

That sounds just like what i did the first time my brother looked after them! I wrote a essay on what to do. lol I do think he thought i was mad, but i do like things to be done a certain way and i do the same routine every day eg veg,clean etc. I have a spot of OCD and if it ain't done that way i cant cope. lol Bet the pigs think I'm mad. :{
