Well Willow is finally showing her personality off. She's very lively and is full of energy. She runs in circles and popcorns around her cage.

I want to buy a play pen. I used to have one made just for small animals, but I was wondering if there were any cheap DYI play pens. Does anyone have any ideas? I want to let her have more free range to go crazy, but while having her safe behind bars so to speak

I bought some grids and connectors that I use for mine, from B&Q, but people on here have joined a couple of runs designed for hamsters which were a lot cheaper (about a fiver each I think from Tesco or p@h).

The cheapest and easiest Id say would be the tesco ones @£5
I picked up a couple packs and the boys love them, you will need 2 minimum tbh. but at £10 is probably a lot cheaper than any other

I've just made one from Wilko's cooling racks and some cable ties. The racks are £1 each and measure 43cm across. Easy and simple to make, it stores away too. There's a pic of it in the housing section.
