[Merrypigs Sanctuary]

Sadly we've had an email today from one of our adopters to let us know that Medusa (lilac and Ginger) has passed away aged just over 6. Her, along with her sister Valentina were the first pigs I to the Sanctuary in June 2016! She was a big pig but an even bigger character, soppy and goofy and friendly and cuddly. She was under sow but that never bothered her and she just wanted to be friends with everypig. The hutch door will always be wonky from where she kept leaning on it! The vet worked through the night to save her but sadly her new mum had to make the heartbreaking decision to end her suffering and give her a hand over the rainbow bridge. Please keep her, Tina and the family in your thoughts!

Rest in peace, Dusa. We will always love you
