Equine Forages - Suitable for Piggies?

The first sounds like it may be fermented (like silage or haylage) so would be too rich. I also think (correct me if I'm wrong) that long stem hay is better so the chop may not be as good. It's 100% timothy hay though so I don't think it would harm them.
 
My piggles will always have access to meadow hay, I'm just having a scout for something that would be a bit different like Readigrass that they can have as something to forage for.

I just don't know what all these horsey forages are like... :)
 
Haha, silly me, I just noticed that the first one is a haylage mix... rolleyes

Chop mixes like the second - there's a few different brands with different grasses used from the looks of them. They all kinda look like readigrass to me.
 
Yeah, I would say a no to the haylage as it was too rich for my horse so dread to think what it would be like for the pigs :)) but the chop should be ok. I'm no expert though so don't take my word for it :))
