Erm Anyone Missing Their Poop?

Not only do my kids take in washing but it appears that my pigs take in other piggies poop! It’s the only explanation for a cage that was cleaned less than 24 hours ago overflowing with poop!

You should see my cage after a matter of seconds! Usually I just put them back on the fleece turn to put their tunnel in and BAM a poo!

I’m pretty sure my girls had some mates over this afyernoon to produce as much poo as was in their cage, less than 10 hrs since I last cleaned it !

Don’t they produce about 300 pr more in a day? 14 piggies x 300 = 4200 at least! I’m drowning in the stuff!
Its good for your grass if you have a garden! My back garden has never looked so lush! Piggy Poop Fertiliser ..... Now that's a good idea!

What!? You don’t separate it into individual piggy poos piles and count them to ensure each piggy Is producing enough? Do you not weigh them and measure them for shape and consistency? Call yourself a piggy slave? Lol

No, it just FEELS like I do that.

I have 5 & it's everywhere, I clean them totally twice a day & it's still not enough. I try not to take photos of them in the cage. You pick them up for a cuddle & they poo on you or the new carpet.
We should put our heads together, there must be a solution.

I'm glad I only have the two piggies to clean up after. That's still enough poo produced to look like I have four piggies.

Are you sure you didn’t send some here?My cages were spot cleaned before I went to bed last night. This morning there are poo mountains in the favourite beds and a fair smattering of poo carpet across the floor in both cages. I’m sure there was too much for just my girls to have produced it. So who sent theirs here overnight ?

If it was tucked in the corner dug under the fleece then its mine I'm afraid, especially if accompanied by pee up the wall (why do my girls do that).

This post made me laugh. :P

They are poop machines aren't they. Lol.
Well I've discovered that Peanut and Buddy have the messiest cage and there is poop everywhere all trampled into the liners and hay trailed all over the cage. Whereas Mango and Mojito deposit theirs in neat little piles. Ha ha. I think M&M are behaving themselves so they get to stay. Just wait till they realise they are staying permanently. The 2 cages will be tips. Ha ha

I think I’d have noticed her in our cage. Poppy would probably have smothered her!
Don't think so! Meg is a heavyweight! The vet has even told me to cut down on pellets but she hardly eats any! She is just a big girl!

Just had an unexpected three year old visitor - friends little girl and of course my lovely clean piggies have poo everywhere! Looks as if its not been cleaned for a week!
All shouting for food too so wee one had a great time giving them their favourites again!

I have one piggy now, I cleaned him out yesterday and came back a couple hours to go see him and the hutch was littered with poop already! :woot:
