Ermentrude and babies update

Ermentrude came in last Wednesday in a filthy state with 3 very dirty babies, only a few days old:

After a bath and a few days of good food, they are doing well!

She is the sweetest piggy - I'm almost certain the babies are not her own, but she's feeding them as best she can. Sadly she is almost certainly pregnant again. She will stay here and join our sponsor scheme as she's had such a rough start in life.

The baby with the white face has the most amazing ears - whatever you do dont put him out in the garden if it's windy - he'll be away and gone

So glad this little family are continuing to do well - keeping everything cossed that they grow into fit healthy piggies. Bet Ermentrude will have people falling over themselves to sponsor her ....................

Babies seem to have literally grown overnight, they are certainly thriving now and Ermentrude is so friendly - you get the odd pig who is in a bad way and seems to know somehow that they've landed on their feet - they're so rewarding.
