He is a bit smelly, but I am just worried about him getting cold, how long would I have to keep him indoors to dry? I don't really have anywhere apart from if he is wrapped in a towel in a basket. Any tips?

Use a hair dryer on a low heat to make sure he's all dry

If you are worried about it being too cold for him, you could use pet wipes or a pet deodoriser. I use a small animal pet deodoriser from pets at home that you just spray lightly on the coat. It just freshens them up.

My piggies live in a shed so I'm waiting for the weather to warm up before I properly bathe them but that's just me :)

I bathed my girl about 4 weeks ago. She's a smooth coat so not too troublesome. I towel dry for 3 minutes, then I use the hairdryer for maybe 5 or 6 minutes to get the tummy and neck dry (tummy is easy because its fine and short hair). I then ruffle the back and bum whilst running the warm air through as best I can. It looks a mess but it encourages her to shake which will get a great deal of moisture out. This makes her rumble and she doesnt much agree but she soon forgets with a bit of salad. I keep her on warm towels and hay for about 2 or 3 hours indoors after that. By then she's pretty much done. Not conveniant for everyone, I tend to do her as soon as I get home in the evening so I've got time to watch her. Plus my girl is indoors anyway! It's essential they're bone dry before going out.
