We have a fold up run that we’ve put up each evening for the piggies to run around in. Rather than joining the 4 sides together, we’ve put it up so that 2 sides nestle up against the ramp for the hutch so that they can come in and out.

Well apparently, that’s going to have to change..! I went to check on them this afternoon to see a big gap between the hutch and the run and Salt heading off for freedom. I figured one of the kids had knocked it. My partner and I managed to catch her (eventually) did her eye drops, gave her a cuddle and put her back in. Right before my eyes she ran straight out of the hutch, shoved the corner of the run with her nose and toddled off behind the hutch for another explore!

So tomorrow we need to either figure out how to secure the run, or we’re going to have to stop the running free between the hutch and the run..!

These piggies are smarter than I expected!

Clever little thing....she and my Bailey would have a field day. He got out of the run in the garden, and I couldn't even see where he'd got through until I noticed I hadn't put one of the corner spikes in. Just like Salt, as soon as I put him back in he went straight to that bit and started trying to shove the bars apart. He's always been an bit of an Houdini though.

Oh dear. You’ve fallen for it. That deceptively sweet, innocent, trustworthy looking face. Big mistake. Piggies are thieves, manipulators, Con atriste, escape artists - you name it. :lol!:
Cheeky piggy. You’ll have to keep a close eye on that one.
