Do any of you have an escape plan in case your pigs escape from their pen/cage/somewhere else?

What sort of things do you have in it?

Need some advice to write one here.

2 of mine always escape into their neighbours cage or just into the room, there isnt anything that can hurt them though so its not a problem really x

Same here, when my piggy runs for it, I know he'll run under the sofa, or under the coffee table in the corner.
What I do do, aside from having sections of the room shielded off during floortime, is make sure that there is nothing dangerous for him to hurt himself with in case he does escape. So there are no cables running behind the sofa.

In case of a garden escape, I would probably call him, whistle, and if he didn't come, panic, break down, cry and call the police.... Maybe I need a plan too.

Mine are in the kitchen/dining room where there are no cables and nothing to hide under. The door is always closed to keep the heat in! Sooo... not a problem really!

When my piggies escape from their floortime pen they run back to their cage! Dafties - you'd think they would enjoy the time away from there! My 2 cats just sit and watch them with a puzzled expression - you can see them thinking that they're not supposed to be out in their turf.

well i didnt and still dont ;D

One of my boars escaped from his run once when i first got him ::) he went under my shed :D i got him like 2 days later as i kept leaving food and water out and a dome for him and kept going to the dome and getting ready to grab him and i did - finally ;D ;D

Mine did escape once i had gone shopping and my hubby was in when he went to see if they were ok he said there was pigs everywere he didnt know what to do our garden has soooo many escape routs but to his amazment as he walked up to the garden panicing what should he do they all went quickly back in the run under the same hole they came out of in an orderly single file he was soo pleased and so was i that i wasnt there cus i would have flipped it seems i had put the run on uneven ground so there was a hole i hadnt noticed because of the grass so when they ate the grass they found the hole ;D

Mine got out of their indoor cage on Monday and I had 4 running around everywhere ;D I don't mind as long as they don't get under anything and get stuck, or eat wires. I also have to be careful of the cat but she's usually out somewhere ::) ;D

i'm going to use spare correx to cover the uinderside of sofa so they cant get under & probably do same round where there's wires etc.......
