Hello

After the last couple of days health drama I am painfully aware that I have no medical supplies in for the piggies at all. As a foster carer who sometimes collects guineas to take into rescue and as the owner of 14 fabulous piggies I have realised I should have some basics in.

So please can you give me ideas as to the basic things I should have in for emergencies and where are good places to get them.

As you are confronted with regularly ill guinea pigs, it might be useful to have a chat with your vet in what meds he would think you could keep at home so that you do not have to come all the time for every little thing and have to apy the full consultation fee. But that depends on your vet...
