I got up for college yesterday and fed the piggies. About half an hour later, I came upstairs to brush my teeth, and my Mum was in my bedroom.
"What are you doing?"
"Feeding the pigs."
"I've already fed them!"
"Well, they were squeaking so I thought you hadn't done it yet."

As soon as I came in the room, they all started dragging their bonus brekkie into their hideys in case I tried to take it off them! :x

Ha Ha - they are so cleaver - and crafty - who says piggies arnt intelligent :))

I know the feeling... I have currently got a wheeking little motion detector with trigger happy sensors! Makes you think twice about wanting a baby again! rolleyes As far as mealtimes are concerned - what's gone that is irretrievably gone!

my piggies are upstairs and the second they here some one coming upstairs they instantly feel its there tea time no matter what time of the day it is ! they make one hell of a racket -_-
i love to hear them wheeking, and being happy so as there bowl for veg is always on top of there cage i show them I'm taking it downstairs and i'll be chopping along to " WHEEK WHEEK WHEEK " they get so excited !

LOL they are very, very smart.

They do it to my mum and to me. They end up getting a lot from both of us and we don't realise someone else has fed them.

They've tried with my dad but he just ignores them so they've learnt hes stingy. xD;

When I give mine their romaine lettuce Peronel will wheek as she wants more leaves and does not want to eat the middle:))

:)) :)) that's soooo funny......

I love the way they drag their food off some times, Treacle will do this if the Lettuce leaf is very big!

I think they would eat veggies all day long if you let them :))

I think bottomless pit is the best way to describe piggies...

I have never found one that will not continue to eat no matter how much they have been fed before that instant.

Hamish & Angus lack the attention span for long munches but tend to do 'fly by' grazing and it disappears in the of an eye.... Especially if you've cut it up so Mish can eat it easily. He looks hilarious wrestling with lettuce leaves. he demands all his veg julienne but I do like to challenge him!

LOL Harold tries it on with anyone, even guests, when he is downstairs with me and someone visits he wheeks away at them for food, even my non piggy friends can't resist him and give him a tidbit LOL

:)) A few weeks ago, I'd just fed the piggies and settled down with TV remote control for a chillout (OH was working away so just me and the piggies x))
Decided to make something to eat and did a quick microwave meal and a salad...mallethead I swear the piggies could smell it and all 15 starting going beserk and made me feel sooo guilty that I had to give in and split MY salad between them so I could eat in peace. They still hadn't finished their food - :x
We have resorted to two fridges in the kitchen, their veggies packed into one and our 'scraps' in the other so think they must have thought I'd stolen theirs.
Little blighters rolleyes ;)
Guess who rules this house rolleyes

Hehehehe! :))
I love how they think every rustle means its something for them. They have a great ability to make you feel guilty even if you have just given them a plate piled high with veg. Seeing them dragging it off always me chuckle :))

My husband walked past the piggies the other day with a Sainsburys bag while he was putting stuff away...immediate frenzied wheeking! " You rustled a bag!". He knows better now. ;)

Misty tries - but takes hers into her house horizontally! :)):)):)) She pings off the edges and gets cross!

This made me giggle :)) What a sweetie

He is a very demanding young man but I suppose if it keeps him eating then julienne it shall be!

There has been some major food tug of war in our house recently... how many piggies does it take to destroy a celery stick in 5 seconds...

Also there's been some assaults by veg too. Hamish bashed Angus over the head soundly ith a carrot the other day. Made him squeal. x

Mine wheek every time I open the fridge! I don't even need to rustle a bag anymore, just open the door and they're off:)) they are so smart and very naughty, they know how flipping cute they are!

The veg assaults made me giggle, when I had my trio they used to bash each other with veg too! Not with carrots though, ouch! :x

I think you need to set a video camera going! rolleyes
