Evan's Special Spot

[Forever Evan]

The kids and I spent the day painting river rocks for Evan's burial site today. My favorite is the orange my son, Ben, painted - it was Evan's absolute favorite treat! It was a bittersweet day. Eventually I hope this is a garden, but it's in straight Arizona sun, which today hit 113 degrees. Will be difficult to find a way to shade it to plant pretty flowers, but I'm going to try! I also ordered a stone sculpture of a guinea with angel wings. Most of you seem to be from the UK - I'd love to have your weather to let our other guinea Rolo actually have REAL grass time!

I planted a few Lantana which are full sun plants. This spot gets lots of sun. Once they grow they will fill out the space and cover the whole "garden". It's a work in progress...
