You just wanted to tell your guinea pigs, "I'm really, really sorry about that."?

Last year I took them down to Hayward's Heath with me for a couple of weeks. On the drive down everything was fine, we stopped off for a bit in Birmingham for something to eat and that. We left Birmingham with 4 adults and 2 pigs and, somehow, a copy of Queen's Greatest Hits. The poor pigs were subjected to 4 adults singing Queen karaoke for a good bit of the second leg of the journey.

It didn't seem to faze them, but I bet that's not what they expected when they got into their carrier!

When I picked them up from the small animal boarder I had left them with for a couple of days! :td::rant: Or if I’ve had to go out straight after work and they don’t get fed til later than usual

I apologise quite often for my allergies..nothing sends my lot running for cover quite as fast as a sneeze
I will no doubt be apologising for my nieces over enthusiastic attempts to feed them for the next few days as well!

Oh I forgot! I bled into their cage once. I was feeding them one evening when I had this massive sneeze, and it triggered one of the worst nosebleeds I've ever seen me have, the blood was everywhere...including their cage, because I didn't realise my nose was even bleeding at first.

My pigs have to listen to heavy metal sometimes lol.Ive found one of my girls likes the song patience by guns n roses. When I played it recently she looked in the air for a bit then laid down to relax.

I played some music C&B didn't like once, pop music but I can't remember exactly what. Then it switched to Joe Satriani's Crowd Chant and they settled down immediately. I don't think it was the music itself, rock and heavy metal is generally lower in pitch and heavier on the bass than pop music and maybe they just disliked the higher pitched stuff.

It’s weird though, my late Sam hated ub40 but loved the two and a half men theme tune lol.

I apologised to mine tonight cos I didn't put them out in the run today (I know BAD! slave). I've had one of those days where I just couldn't catch up with myself and was so very busy. They were fed and had loads of hay then they were cooped up all day in the hutch. They did have a run around inside for about half an hour at cuddle time. I did feel bad about not getting them out on such a lovely day and not spending as much time as I usually do with them but it won't hurt for just 1 day. I feel extra awful cos they were in the hutch most of last weekend (we were away) and they will be for the 10 days (starting Friday) as we are away again! My lovely neighbour will be coming in twice a day to feed them and check they are all present and correct.

Where are you off to then?

Have you been back since? I’ve got a few photos from when I went but my phone won’t let me upload them :(
Nope! Not to Looe we normally go further down near Falmouth as my cousin lives there or we go to Tintagel as we like it there.

When I had a cold and coughed, it scared them, I went and apologised to them ámd explained that I had a cold xx

Lol so many funny posts here. My toddler and young one run in the room screaming and playing and the piggies have got to the stage where they barely blink I'm so proud of them I think they got fed up shooting into hideaways every few seconds lol

That is really noisy! How dare you!:lol!:
I didn’t even shake it intentionally but Fudge shot into the box and Toffee just froze! Considering the noise my kids make I’m surprised they were scared 🙄
