Can someone give me an answer about evergreen for the lawn and piggys. My OH wants to do the back garden as it's full of moss but needs to kill it all before it's scarifyed.

It says no to animals for few days and then it's OK to put animals on. But they're refering to cats and dogs?!

Anyone any thoughts? x

We have just put some moss killer on our front lawn (not sure of the brand). It says keep animals such as cats & dogs of for a few days but it says on our packaging keep grass eating animals off for at least four weeks.

Hope that helps

I don't know, but there is a spray that farmers use on their fields to kill docks/ragwart/foxgloves/moss etc that is safe for animals once dry (obviously livestock/horses eat the grass too) I've got some over my parents house because I get my dad to mix it and put it in the sprayer incase I do it wrong. He's not in at the moment but I'll give him a call later and find out what it's called, I know places like wynnstay sell it.

That would be a great help thank you! I don't want them off for 4weeks they love their grass time!

Thanks all xx

Yeah four weeks is a long time! Thankfully we have a back lawn we didn't need to treat which is just for my boys to enjoy!

I use evergreen and as far as I understand, you're OK putting the pigs on after the pellets have been dissolved by rain. Alternatively, we just hose the grass. As we have 2 patches, we alternate which we treat and which we put piggies on.
