Hi,

Just been to wilkinsons & soo cheap for piggie stuff.

They have giant chubes (orange ones) for £1.50 (£2.55 @ p@H)

They also have herbal treats. I got bigish bag of dandelion & oats & also some herbal rollers they are £1.79 each or 2 for £2.79

The medium bales of meadow hay are a bargain at £1.99 also.

They have a limited amount of things including willow sticks, mineral blocks, food, treat sticks etc... but certainly cheap - bigger stores will probably stock more items.

I am going there from now on for my treats & chubes & will def get some hay when I am running low.

Yeah Chocco is obsessed with dandilion and oat grass, everytime i open the container he gets excited. Wilkinsons near me stack it frequently, just a shame the bags are so small :P

Wow, I wouldn't have thought of going to Wilkos for my pet stuff... didn't know they sold pet food, so thanks!

No problem, must stress limited things stocked but when happens to be what you want it is a brillant price! W:)ill be getting all my chubes, treats and hay there from now on!

I buy nearly all my piggies bits from Wilkos, its so much cheaper than pets at home and they sell most of the common toys and treats.

I get my hay from there aswell.

I love wilkinsons. Whenever i go to the store, i often look at the pet section. I have got my hamster ans guinea pigs those herbal rollers before but they hardly touched them so haven't brought anymore.
I got them a bag of Fruit leaves, which my piggies like. But one thing i found was there was some sharp twigs with thorns on. I have to sort through some before i give it to my piggies. I don't want them getting injured mouths. I have also got them the dandelion and oats one before which they also like.
The tubes are cool too. I wish i could get one for Cookie's cage, but dunno whether she'd fit in it and she wouldn't have much room for it.

Yeah, wilkinsons rocks

I must admit I dont like the hay there, it is dry, yellow and dusty but they are good for bottles and the like!

my piggies like their muesli. I got a dodgy bag once so I stopped buying it but it's dead cheap...

I buy some of my stuff there too, ive used the hay which seemed alright i dont mind paying £1.99 a lot cheaper than other places :)

i have bought some hay from there but it was a bit dry and the piggies didnt seem to be too fussed with it (although they did eat it) i havent seen the dandelion stuff before so will have a look at the weekend!

should I try the hay? don't want to get it if it is rubbish but seems too cheap to pass up the opertunity to try it? may just give it a go & if it is nogood at least it was cheap can throw it out & buy some from P@h

for that price i would just get it and try it anyway. If they dont like it you havent wasted a lot of money but might find yourself saving money in the future! think my 2 are just fussy men!

Looked at it yesterday it looked all small bits and really dusty, don't think i'll bother. George likes to root through his hay rack & pick out the bits that are really long & fat first. I joke to my boyfriend "ooow he's found another big juicey one" it's dead funny & wouldn't want to take that away from him :)) ( he is one spoilt piggie :) )

I often pop into my local Wilkinsons. I got my giant chubes there, which as you say were £1 cheaper than the local petstore.

I went in there today and got some carrot and oats treats - 49p each or 3 for £1. Before Christmas I bought a pet fleece blanket for £4.99. It is big and great for lap-time or to cover hutches inside my shed when it is really cold.

Certainly worth a little look around Wilkinsons ... they do cheap wild bird seed as well!

I swear by Wilkinsons...really due to financial situation, although even if I had money to spare, I think I'd still go there. They have offers on hay, g-pig food and the dandelion stuff at the mo. We are stocked up now!

Their hay did go a bit straw like recently, and other times it can be a bit....well, bitty! But, at the mo it seems back to normal. And theirs is £1.99 - the same thing in Tesco costs £3.27! My boys love it and also the g-pig food, so I can't complain! And one rustle of the dandelion bag and they're anyone's! They're happy, healthy, shiny piggies so I must be doing something right!:))

Wish I had your wilkos my shop is full of bitty stuff the pieces look about 2/3 cm long and there is so much dust around the edges of the bags. May have another look in couple of weeks as could have gotton better

Wilko is great for pet products, although, some of them are a little low quality. I wouldnt use their hay, for example, but I love the tubes! And so cheap compared to P@H and other stores! :)
