Hello, we have had evie for 2 months now. I think she is about 3 months old total. She is so fun! I have just as of today coaxed her to jump out of her cage into my waiting cupped hands! We have the red wire cage with plastic bottom on wheels. I guess its about a 3 feet long cage and her "jump" from the bedding to my cupped hands have to be a good 6-7 inch vertical jump! She did this twice so far I hope to get someone to video this to share.
She is up to almost 2 pounds. And we really enjoy coaxing her to popcorn when sge gets excited. So great to see her so very active and hopefully as happya as shea can be. She purrs alot when I pet her and instead of nipping she now constantly licks. We take turns I pet her and then she licks my hand a while!. Its scary but when shes perched on my shoulder she licks my cheek!
We feed her bag food, bell peppers, oranges, romaine, grapes, alfalfa amd timothy hay. She even drink water out of her heavy small dish.
I hope she is happy living with us! We do plan on getting a c&c cage soon and introduce to her a new friend.
