Shes had a patch on her bum thats gone a bit bald and today iv noticed this has got loads worse, so tomorrow I'm going to give them all a bath, clean out their hutch and look into buying vet bed online rather than what I'm doing at the moment. Hopefully this will sort things out for her.

Does anyone have any ideas what I could put on her bald bits, to sooth them?
I have aloe vera gel?

Have you got any pictures? I would suggest a vet visit for a proper diagnosis first before home treatment :)

That sounds abit like what i'm going through with my Rosie, she started with a patch at the bottom of her back. We.saw the vet and are currently treating for mites. It's definitely best to see a vet for a proper diagnosis as it could be a number of things.

Please be aware that only a good quality ivermectin product will get on top of mites, especially as yours have already gone a bit further. Insectidal shampoos don't kill the painful mite eggs and don't stop them. Shop products are usually too low dosed to do much more than prevent mites, but they not cure them.

Please see a vet for a proper diagnosis; you can cause real suffering with inefficient home treatment!
