As previously posted Maisie has had gut issues caused by eating spring grass. The vet told me to avoid grass until well into the growing season and preferably put Maisie onto a rough patch where not much is growing. Now to get Maisie to eat as much fibre as possible she has plenty of hay and other forages but today I've brought Excel barn dried grass (forage) can anybody tell me if this can be fed ad-lib or are there precautions to be used while feeding it. Maisie seems to be enjoying it and is stealing the other piggies pile.
I just filled up their litter tray with it and it pursuaded them to sit in there because they love it so much. 
It caused no problems.
