Excel Hay Cakes

I've just brought the little 'darlings' these hay cakes thinking they might like them, they usually go nuts over timothy. Stupid me mallethead thinking 100% top quality timothy would be good enough for them. They had a sniff and walked off in disgust then had the cheek to demand grass when I went to the garden. Don't you just love them.

Yep, I think it took mine about 3 weeks of encouragement before they deigned to nibble on a haycake!

I think pigs are a bit too lazy to try breaking up a hay cake and would rather stuff their faces with easy to nom loose hay My guinea pigs (and even rabbits) don't care for them all too much.
