Saw excel in the pet shop, didnt buy it cause it was quite costy. what do you guys think about it? they had medow something and carrot and apple
 
I haven't tried any of the treats but mine have the Excel pellet food and had the hay once and it's all pretty good quality. The company does seem pretty good as well as they do seem to want to promote keeping pets properly and this is reflected in the ingredients used. Like you say though quite costy so other than the pellets I rarely get any Excel products. If you want to get some though you can get a £2 off voucher on their website, that'd make them a little cheaper :).
 
my two have the nuggets and the hay with added dandelion and marigold which they love compared to the p@h make - which now gets used as bedding with the nice stuff in places around the cage to eat.
 
3 of my guinea pigs have the Excel Blackcurrant & Oregano nuggets!
They love them :D
 
Mine have the plain excel nuggets and black currant and oregano flav nuggets. They adore both.
 
i use the excel hay with added dandelion and marigold, they love it,yes it is more expensive,but i feel necessary for their well being
 
Its more pricy but its much better quality. They spore test all of there hay to ensure that there is no mites/fungal in it. Its great stuff, i'd rather spend some more money on my gang.

My lot get the Nuggets and I do buy them the hay now and again. I buy readygrass for them too :)
 
Excel is pretty good but I don't buy it anymore because of the cost and how many piggies I have to feed. When they did have it though, they loved it and ate all of it. Excel tends to stop selective feeding.
 
I feed burgess, and mine love the blackcurrant and oregano:))

I did swap to wag mix for a week as it is half the price but then went back to burgess becuase it smells so much better and they love it!

I've got a few barcodes almost ready (near the end of the bag) would I be best to get a loyalty card off of camp nibble or send them to you?

My piggies eat the Burgess nuggets and the herbage. The best prices for these that I've found are at Animed Direct and it's free shipping. Hope that helps.

I use all excell products - its higher in price but its worth every penny for me cos i know they are getting the best

1 packet of super guinea excel biscuits cost £4.25 for a bag which lasts 2 months for 2 piggies

the Excell hay costs £4.45 and lasts about 1 week

I dont buy meadow hay anymore because there were lots of black bugs that were crawling all over the cage and up my walls 8... since using excell i no longer have any bugs.

My friend was using meadow hay too and had same bugs and since she stopped using meadow hay the bugs have gone :) pretty awful huh?

Thank goodness for Burgess Excell i say :))

will keep my barcodes, do i send them to you? am i being daft, could nt see how to do this on your website, and LOVE the two little boys looking for a home!
 
aww thank you so much everybody :) the animals will all be very grateful. if you email this address, they will send you out a loyalty card which you then attach the barcodes to and send them off to burgess, stating camp nibble as your chosen rescue :) [email protected]
