Time is ticking down till I can pick up the girls new husboar and I am really looking forward to welcoming the lad into the group, but also nervous of the reception the girls will give him. I also feel a little guilty that I lost flash just weeks ago and have got a replacement, but I know that judging by the girls behaviour they need a man in their life and the sooner the better rolleyes and this is for them more than for me. (as in this soon, they have moved on from their grief, me not quite yet but I know I will love him for him no matter what)

Its a funny feeling being excited about welcoming a needy piggie into the home and giving him a fabulous life, but also wonder if the girls will be as kind to him, if they will love him as much as they did flash (and I really hope they do other wise I will have to rethink my pen layout). I want to get excited but I feel I should stay level headed to help with the introduction and I have a plan on how things will go having done it successfully last time (and previously with the original piggies I had years ago).

Just have to set the date for his pick up :red (needed to check my rota and make sure it wouldnt change at the last minute).

I just want to say having seen this post that I think you're fantastic.

I get really cross reading some things on the internet by people who don't fully think and consider what is going to happen when they bring home a new little pig.

I wish you and your new husboar the best of luck!

Oh good luck. I know your new piggy will never replace Flash but you are offering a little one a loving home and helping your girls. You have nothing to feel guilty for.

Aw, I know how nerve racking it can be bringing a new piggy home and the worry involved with introductions :x
Sure your girls will welcome him and love him as much as they did Flash :rose
