How long are your piggies out for?

I let mine out every day for 3-4 hours :)

I need to get mine out more. My bigger boys don't like exersize at all though. I put them out, they have a little walk around and then curl up and sleep. ^^;

I put my boys on the floor twice a day (once in the morning and once at night) They get to stay out as long as they are playing lol the moment the start laying down to nap I put them back in. They are usually playing for about an hour and a half though both times. They love the floor. However, they like to scoot their butts across the carpet under the kitchen table rolleyes and so when I bend down to pick them up all I can smell is their lovely perfume that they's scooted across my floor :)>>>

Henry has that habbit, blooming stinks!:)>>>

I used to let mine out each day for three or four hours but now they have a huge c & c cage they do not need any floor time. I just let them out for cuddles with me. :)

I let all the boys out in the morning while I'm getting ready for work, usually about 2 hours. Then the girls in the night when I'm back. Boys go mad if i do it the other way round!

Mine are out when ever me or the daughter are home so a minimum 6 hrs aday. Although after the initial run around for about 30mins they tend to pop in and out of the cage whenever they want but I have noticed they do more sleeping and eating than playing :))

I feel bad now reading this as mine only get about an hour a day :(

Sometimes less depending on work etc!

How about extend it a bit so they have more space and then do not need floor time?

Would love to extend but we are pushed for space as it is.
Can't go either way on either of the cages.

We are in forces married quaters and they are not the biggest of houses.

IS there space in another room they could run and play? Do you have two piggies?

My girls don't get a set time everyday as they are very fussy about when they go out in the garden. It can't be too windy otherwise they hate it. They always get some time out the cage everyday though.

I have 4! We are in a 2 bedhouse but the spare room is take up by all our kit etc and will be used for children when we have them. They do get extra floor time a weekends and when i can too make up for it. It is just during the week they don't get that much

Oh their home sounds too small. :( You should let them out for longer each day to give them freedom and exercise and also space from one another.

I have 2 seperate cages they they are not all in one cage!

Hope people don't think i'm a bad owner as they only get a bit of floor time Mon-Thurs but they sure make up for it at weekends,

I wouldn't worry to much about it. I have to odd day in the week were due to work it is just not possible to let them all out for a wander. Although David wont let me get away with it he shouts his head off until i let him out!

Lol what do they do?

Terry sniffs about, rubmlestruts and gets excited. Poor lamb i feel bad i cant let him at a girle!

David does pretty much the same only he tries to have it off with my foot. I think he gets confused as he's blind in one eye. Can smell the girls sees my foot and thinks WERHEY!

Certainly not! At times due to my health its impossible to get the pigs out my mum normally sticks them in the pen for me but its tiny compared to free ranging, the rabbits are much easier to get out as they listen to me, the pigs just cause havoc! rolleyes
