Extra Toes/weight.

I got 2 piggies from a lady today and one of them has 2 extra toes hanging by a thread of skin on her back legs I will be taking her to a vet. also she is about 2 year old and weighs just over 700g I'm gussing this is underweight? I can feel her bones!

the other piggy is fine apart from her long nails that I cut this afternoon.
 
That is pretty underweight if you can feel her bones, poor piggy. I have a piggy with an extra toe, the vet is going to remove it when he is under anaesthetic for his neutering. It would be good to get them both vet checked as you say

yep I can feel her spine,ribs etc. I put lots of veggies in there cage and it was gone in a matter of mins!

Polydactyly (an extra tow on the back foot) is not quite uncommon in guinea pigs. if the toes are only loosely attached, please have them removed by a vet; otherwise they can be left as they won't impede the ability to move.

Adult weights can differ a lot. This link tells you how to work out whether a piggy is underweight. Please quarantine any newcomers. Ideally you have them vet checked if they are from a questionable background.

thankyou there in quarantine. have been treated with spot on and bathed as they was coverd in there own wee and poo also had there very long nails clipped x I am defo taking her to the vets to get checked over the lady said she dident have the time for them anymore x
