Extra Wet Eye

I noticed earlier today that Ursula has an extra wet eye, i wiped it clean but a few hours later now when i was feeding them i can definitely see that it is very wet again. There is no discolouration or extra crustyness or anything, it is just wet and just the one eye. I can't see any sign of a hay poke either.
Any ideas what it is? Is it an early sign of something? She is eating normally and acting fine.
It is saturday now so I will see how she goes until monday anyway before a vet visit but my boyfriend isn't keen on rushing them to the vets at any small sign of something, he says I am over protective, but piggies need an overprotective mummy since they hide their illnesses!
 
It could be the start of a URI so I would keep an eye out for any other symptoms and get her to the vets sooner if any appear. It could also be allergy related though, have they had any new hay or anything like that?

The only thing that has changed is i have started giving them fresh grass, but i started this like 2 to 3 weeks ago so not sure if it could be that.
 
No vets are not necessary just yet it causes the pig more stress and they don't always have the answers because there's not enough symptoms/evidence to give a diagnosis just yet but that dose not mean you should not be core-souse ! x
But I hope he/she gets better soon :)

Thanks I will be keeping a close eye on her :) hopefully she will get better on her own with lots of cuddles
 
Hopefully it is just a reaction to some hay or the grass. They can have Children's Piriton if needed though I know you may an issue getting that in Sweden. If she does develop more symptoms though then a vet visit will be needed. It is good that you are being cautious.
