I'm not a health and illness expert and there are others on here who know more than I do. Crusting round the eyes can be a sign of an upper respiratory tract infection. Has he been coughing/ sneezing or have you seen any drizzle from his nostrils? Is he well in himself, eating normally etc. it can also be the sign of an irritation or allergy. If you are at all concerned it would be a good idea to get a vet to check him over.

White crusts can simply be the remains of the milky eye cleaning fluid and nothing to worry about.
If they come from a translucent fluid that resembles our tears, they can indicate that there has been an irritation of the eye, which has either cleared or is still existing. If this persists or the eye appears smaller/pulled in, it can indicate an eye injury and needs to be seen promptly by a vet.
Yellow or green crusts on the eyes can indicate a respiratory infection (URI) and need to be seen promptly by a vet. URIs can kill if left untreated. They are usually accompanied by sneezing or coughing, crackly/noisy/deep breathing, loss of appetite/weight, apathy etc.

I can hear him taking a dap breath sometimes when he does a loud squeak but only when he squeaks and when it's really loud should I be worried about that

No - that is normal. You can't fail to notice when a seriously ill piggy is struggling to breathe, believe me! ;)

:agr: You can't help but notice abnormal breathing - both by sound and by sight!
