Eye Infection?

Hi all

Would people recommend taking my pig to the vet - he has wet goo in eyes, see picture, but doesn't seem to have any other symptoms. I don't know if he'd sit still for me to try wiping the eyes. Could this be a sign of an illness? First time owner - May be overracting! Thank you for any advice

The milky fluid is cleaning fluid, as guinea pigs don't blink with their eyes like us humans.

I thought the same thing too, the first time I saw this in my piggys eye.

Ah thank you panic over, do I need to wipe his eyes at all or fine to just leave it? Very helpful link thanks!
