Eye Infections

Hi, my guinea pig, Sparky, once got a bit of hay in her eye and this caused a big eye infection. She was very brave but nearly lost sight in that eye. I don't know what I would have done if she did and I don't want that to happen to anyone else, it's a really good idea to keep checking on them as I am sure you all do anyway and get your guinea pig to the vets before anything bad happens.

hello, yes unfortunately hay pokes can be very nasty So glad Sparky is okay, well done for spotting it

Glad that you got Sparky through it; hay pokes can cause real injuries and always need to be seen and treated by a vet asap.
