Eye looking strange!

Hi everyone. I’m in a bit of a panic

my guinea pig tiger is blind and deaf butthat doesn’t stop her. Today i saw her right eye was watery and I washed it out with warm water. It doesn’t seem to be bothering her and is not affecting her apitite.
it looks like she has a fatty eyewith a brown bit in the corner.
Please help!

I would recommend to have the eye vet checked in case it is a conjunctivitis.

Thanks. I’m taking her to the vet tomorrow. As the evening has gone on it’s got more red and weepy.

Hi thanks for the reply. I took her to the vets and they have given her some antibiotic drops and metacam. It looks like it is improving and less red/swollen but she has developed a white dot in the middle of her pupil. The vet didn’t know what it was but suggested it could be from where something had entered her eye. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I once had a pig who developed a white dot in the middle of her pupil. My vet put it down to a hay poke and that’s the only symptom she had. She was prescribed a course of eye drops
