Well Nibbles had get eye op on monday to remove a growth.

She is slowly becoming her normal self, she's still not eating as much as normal, but is still eating quite a bit also her poops are a bit soft and she is still a bit sleepy.

Is this normal for 24hrs after an op?

Yes, fairly normal, some recover faster than others but keep a close eye on her. Wally Whiskers took about 48 hours to recover from his. The most important thing is that they keep eating ( and pooing), I had to supplement Wally with Critical care, make sure Nibbles keeps eating even if you have to hand feed her. :laluot_29::laluot_29::laluot_29:

Hello. Poor Nibbles. Is she on any antibiotics post op? That could make poops squishy so she should have a probiotic also. I would imagine she's still feeling under the weather after 2 days but it sounds like she is slowly recuperating. There are some more knowledgable folks on here who I'm sure can advise far better. Hope she feels better soon. Sounds like you are being the best nurse x

Thanks guys. She is eating small bits of greens & pellets. I just keep offering her bits of her favourite foods. Her poos are normal but softer if that make scence. She is back at the vets on thurs for a check and I have critical care on stand by.

She is a lot more awake and herself than yesterday so fingers crossed she will be even better tomorrow.

See if you can tempt her with some hay as well.

SOrry to hear about little Nibbles having to have an eye op :...
Good that she'll eat some foods, but yeah try cutting veg and hay up into smaller pieces and see if that encourages her x)
