Eye problem on my Guinea pig

As piggies&buns says it can take time. Persevere with it and hopefully you start to notice some improvement in a few days. When my lily injured her eye it was a very superficial injury but flared up badly. The eye drops took the swelling down within the first week but it took a full 3 weeks of eye drops for her to be back to normal.
 
Oh. Piggies are unpredictable. I hope brownie gets well soon. He is acting totally normal otherwise. Eating all his food and drink proper quantity of water too. Too check on his food and water intake, I have put him in a separate house from other piggies. But he is close to their housing so he can be around them and communicate with the other.
I was concerned if the medication was working because after each dose, an hour later his eye looks dirty and crusty around. Is this normal?

Please don’t separate him from his cage mate. It is stressful to be separated and there is no medical need for him to be separated from his friend. Please go through the rebonding process (information on the link below) and put them back together.

The dirtiness is probably excess eye drop medication which has dripped out

This is his eyes now after 1.5 hrs administering the antibiotic dose
 
Should I clean it off for him? The excess medicine... I am planning to use the artificial tear after 30 mins time... Two hours post his antibiotic dose.
