Eye Problem...

Since we put Lucy and Buddy together we have noticed one of buddy's eyes has had a white mucus in it and today it is draining into his hair under his eye? wondering if we should just wipe it with a warm washcloth? Don't really want to have to take him to the vet. We have been there to much latley. :...
Any suggestions?

White discharge is normal for a piggie, it's a bit like when we get 'sleep' in our eyes, and they use it too groom themselves
