Eye Problem

I have just notified my piggie Tilly has a cloudy eye which is red around the outside and it is not open as much as her other eye. She did have the same problem a couple of years ago and I used Optex Infected Eyes which contains Chloramphenicol. Does anyone know how many drops and times a day you should use to treat Guinea Pigs as I can't remember from before but know it did the trick.
 
I would suggest a quick check up at the vets, to check for a penetrating wound, a hay seed stuck beyond the visible part of the eye and ulceration of the surface of the eye.
