Is it possible for pigs to get styes around the eye lid? I've just noticed midge has a small lump on the outer/ upper eye lid. Am i right in thinking I can use brolene as a emergency treatment for eye infections, I was going to get some and just apply to the lump until I can get to the vets. She also has a fatty? lump in the neck/ throat area so she definatly will be going this week. Thank you.
 
Is it bothering her e.g. any eye discharge, or squinting her eye? A picture would be helpful if you could get one. :)
 
Sorry no photos, certainly not bothering her, shes doing everything she should be.There is no discharge,no redness in or around the eye, she isn't squinting there's no 'head' to the lump/spot its just appeared. The spot is very nearly the same colour as her eyelid so I'm presuming its underneath the skin, thats why i asked about styes before they come to a 'head' and burst. sorry should have put all this in the original post.
