Eye seems weird

We are taking her to the vet today, but just wanted to know what is wrong with her eye, her eyelid seems swollen.52688731-C344-4F73-AB15-8DAD5C4E3CF0.webp

To be honest, this is something that requires a hands-on examination. It can be an infection, a bad insect bite or something on the inside of the lid.

The appointment is soon, maybe less than an hour, and she looks very uncomfortable, glad I could book one today. Thanks for the support, I will keep you guys updated after the appointment.
 
So, she poked her eye with something, probably hay. I have to give her eye drops for a week then comeback to check on her. It’s superficial.
 
Thank goodness it’s only superficial. Usually with hay pokes they respond quickly to the drops and gel from the vets. A week is quite a long time so if you don’t see improvement in a few days I’d recommend that you ask for an earlier re-check.
 
I honestly don’t know, they gave a prescription to my mom, didn’t get a chance to read it, once the medicine arrives I will tell you .
 
I don’t know if this is expected or not, but today her eye was very cloudy, like the whole eyeball turned blue. I think she can still see though.
