hey all,

My pig, Potato, has had a watery eye for a few days now. We previously had a difficulty with the same eye in which he had snagged the skin on the outer eye but was easily treated and the issue stopped. There appears to be no irritation that I can see but there is a very small little lump towards the corner of the eye (this does not look like the previous snag), there is no redness however it is watery which has resulted in the surrounding fur being damp for a few days now. He's still eating and pooping fine.

Any advice would be really gratefully received. Thanks -
Sadie :)

Could it be pea eye? though that does not usually make the eye water. Is it possible to post a photo?

Is the eye smaller than the other one? One of my piggies has an eye (that we believe to be a birth condition) that is smaller than the other which simply didn't grow with the rest of her. It's very watery due to the lid being normal size so it doesn't fit her eye properly.

How old is he? A photo would help :)
