Eyebrows the guinea pig has given me a nasty scare over Christmas!

Eyebrows (yes really!) my piggy has taken ill. He wouldn't run out for his food like he usually does and I noticed him not being very well.

Christmas Day he got worse, then Boxing day. I couldn't get the vet so the only thing I could do was keep him hydrated with water and a probiotic.

Turns out he has a water infection! Gave him some cranberry juice and it seens to have had more effect than the antibiotics the vet prescribed.

I am taking it day by day, but I thought he was a gonner!:(:(
 
So far, Eyebrows is making good progress. He is out of his hidy hole more and sat watching the world. He is taking food better. Got him some romaine lettuce. So all being well he is doing ok x:))xoxo

I hope your little Guinea man is okay.

By the way, why did you name him eyebrows? That's a funny name for a Guinea pig.:<>
 
When he was a baby piggy, he had a two white stripes across his eyes. So we nick named him Eyebrows, or Brows for short. No he is two the white stripes have grown into bushes.:))

He is the ginger and white one in the middle of my avatar.x
 
Thanks. He's doing well. Just realised he is having major sulks with me now:))
