I find them fantastic for the rabbits - the best thing I have ever had, but useless for the GPs - they couldn't master the GP one. I find the Biba bottle the absolute best for my piggies
My girls have a regular spout one and seem to be OK with it, but do look like they struggle with it sometimes. But they also have a ball-bearing type bottle, but don't seem to touch that, so I guess they prefer the ezi-filler.
I was thinking of trying the GP spout one, but maybe I wont bother now!
Thank you guys - makes for very interesting reading! I read that you can adjust the flow on the GP bottles so that they don't or can't flood their cages but after reading your posts, I think I'll probably stick with the basic ball-bearing bottle. It seems to work OK but just drips a little.
Give the Savic Biba one a go Mackers - I find it doesn't drip at all. They also have a longer spout than standard ball-bearing ones. They can be difficult to track down in shops but you can get them online - although the price varies wildly! I used http://www.k9capers.com/ for them. Found them to be the cheapest place including delivery
I can second the Savic Biba bottle, no drips, and the longer spout is good especially if it has to be hung outside the cage. The spout is also a bit slimmer than most other bottles, my fussy drinkers seem to prefer that.
