Snowy has ringworm. So I'm using F10 on everything, including my hands and I even spray my top when I put Snowy back in the run. I use an old top for picking him up for cuddles. He is on medication and I have noticed his urine is much darker than usual, but no squeaky wees.

I don't think he will be having his neutering op tomorrow so he's going to be on his own for longer than anticipated. That is why I have taken him out of that small cage and put him in the pen as it's much bigger. But he is in quarantine in our living room, poor one.

Aww, poor Snowy and poor you.
Fungal is such a nightmare, but it sounds like you are doing everything you can, and hopefully he will be feeling better and cleared for his op very soon.
And once he is neutered and in with his ladies it will all be worthwhile.
Thankfully when Eddi had fungal it was cold enough that I could spray everything with F10 and leave it in the garden for a week to 'clean' it.
I am thinking the overnight temperatures of minus 10 should have done the trick.

F10 is amazingly good at killing those pesky spores. Mabel had fungal earlier in the year and I had to spray and soak everything, bin what couldn't be soaked, and practically boil wash everything. She is fine now - you'd never know she'd had any hair loss. Snowy will be fine, too. Just bad timing as he will have to wait to be neutered.

I am cuddling Snowy as often as I can, using old clothes, but he is not pop corning as much as he is used to.

I'm not sure if I can see some flakey skin on his ear as well...but the meds should sort out any additional infected sites.

I'm changing the puppy pads he is on every two days and washing his fleecey things every three days. Every time I hold him in using F10 on my hands, arms and I spray my clothes just in case.

Do you think this is overkill? I know how infectious Ringworm is...and I'm keeping that secret from my OH. He'd freak out if he really knew...

Sounds like you are doing everything perfectly.
I also tried to handle Eddi in a positive way (not just for applying cream which he hated) and kept an old apron to do this.
Then I would throw the apron in the machine every second day or so.
I looked very stylish I can tell you :D

A sign of a UTI.

I watched Snowy pee earlier and it was a cloudy colour, with no blood or anything.

Thanks @Tim and @Flamestriker! For some reason my brain was thinking that it was the urination itself that was creating the sound, rather than one meaning symptoms of pain.
I have them days too! Sometimes I forget which way to twiddle a spanner to loosen a nut lefty loosey, tighty righty! :))) Brain fog eh

I thought that was some awful euphemism, oh my word...
I also thought you were talking about F10 as in a computer key! Nerd moment. Nice idea though! I hope the little sweetheart feels better soon:love:

Thank you all, your replies made me smile

Poor Snowy is getting worse. His ear has Ringworm as well, but that has come on today. It was not this bad this morning.

He is still taking his meds OK and I read through a post about Ringworm, and how it gets worse before better. But he is on such a small amount I'm hoping that it starts to clear up soon.

No neutering op yet. The vet wants to see him in four weeks to see how treatment is going, and then see about neutering.

The other three seem OK so far, fingers crossed. I'm splashing F10 on my hands, arms, clothes and neck every time Snowy goes back in his pen. Everything is washed at 60 with Dettol.

Awe poor little dude :soz: paws crossed for him x
