Hi everyone, I have bought this f10 solution and I am finding it a bit confusing.
I will insert a picture here -

My first question is why are there two separate sections, and what is the difference between them.
My second question is, I adopted a pig with mites so have bought this to disinfect their hides/toys. I plan to soak their main wooden hides, and wash/wipe down their plastic items, both with F10.
What is the dilution ratio to water needed for soaking, and what is it for washing/wiping down? Also how do I measure say 1ml lol.

I have read the packaging, but can not really make sense of it so was hoping someone had used it in the past. I plan to let items soak/sit for 30 minutes before washing them down with hot plain water.

The small section is for you to measure the amount of solution into. Squeeze the bottle and it’ll go into the small section. There are measuring lines on the section.

If you read the back it says something like general disinfection, and then gives the ratio and then there are other ratios getting stronger. I think I’d use the middle ratio but I cant remember what the bottle says off the top of my head

Ohh okay, thank you

Just had a Quick Look online and I think I’d use 1:250.

1:500 is for general disinfection

Okay great, thank you very much!

Outside of mites, would you recommend 1:500 for the weekly deep clean?

Does it have to be hot/boiling water or does just room temperature work
To dilute the F10 I use water straight out the tap. I also use the middle disinfection dilution most of the time

I use cold water. I make up a litre at a time and it stays in the spray bottle until finished. The made up solution lasts, I think, six months.

I soaked all wooden items in f10 and boiling water, and I wiped down all plastic items multiple times with hot water and f10. I used the ratio 1:250 and let them all soak/sit for 15 minutes then gave them a rinse with warm water, hopefully it should do the trick.

Do the mites stick to the items? I thought they needed a host.
