I was looking into getting this bottle of F10 spray off of Amazon, as I heard it is good for disinfecting/cleaning cages & stuff. I attached a photo of the one I was looking at for reference just so you guys can confirm that this is the right stuff.

Anyone who uses F10 spray: What’s your routine after you spray and wipe everything? And how long do you keep the pigs out of the room after you’re done?

Thanks!

I only leave them out of the cage long enough for it to air dry so I can put the bedding back on - i have hutches in a shed so it tends to air dry within a few minutes.
I personally use the concentrate and make it up rather than use the ready made (a bottle of concentrate unmade has lasted me well over a year, when a litre is made up in my spray bottle it lasts up to six months once made from a use by point of view but at that point it obviously depends on how much you spray). There is one type of F10 (f10scxd) which contains a cleanser so needs to be rinsed whereas the the one on your pictures is just the disinfectant and doesn’t need to be rinsed off.

Vinegar is fine as a mild disinfectant and general cleaner.
F10 is a vet grade disinfectant. It kills everything including ringworm spores. I use it as a deep clean every few months m.

Vinegar and water is fine for a general clean but it does not kill bacteria or fungal spores. F10 is a vet grade deep cleaning fluid. I deep clean my cages about once a month with F10 more often during hot humid weather when fungus takes hold quickly. I buy F10 in concentrate and mix my own. I am currently dealing with a case of fungal infection brought in by a new to us young piggy and am on my third litre of F10, thoroughly cleaning the cage and surrounding floor regularly. I spray and leave to air dry, if the boys aren't outside they stay in the room in their carriers or a play pen.

:agr: I’m another concentrate user. Spray, clean, air dry, lay newspaper and clean fleece. Boys mooch about in the other half of the cage whilst I clean.

I also use the concentrate. Though I put it the official F10 bottle from when I bought a dilute verison. The concentrate lasts ages. My piggies had ringworm, if I had bought dilute I would have gotten through absolutely loads.

I spray their cage while they are in the same room and I leave it to dry before putting bedding back on. I often open the windows as it dries it quicker.

I believe so. You can normally only purchase it online so have a Google. It says online there is distributers in the US
Great I’m definitely going to look into it bc I went to petsmart and they have a cage cleaner but the reviews are really bad and I didn’t want to try it out and risk it so I just bought some white cleaning vinegar and used that

There is another vet grade cleaner which I think is more common in the US, it's mentioned in one of the guides but I can't find it. It might be called something like Vickron?

I use F10 cage spray as well as White Vinegar spray.
The vinegar cleans well and the F10 is a good disinfectant.
I spray, wipe and then use towels to dry the cage
