Fairy lights at night?

My guinea pigs cage is in our basement (which does have a window) and at night it is VERY dark. I have some fun fairy lights that I strung up (almost like christmas lights) Would it be okay to leave them on at night?

I don't see why not I have a night light on during the night so my piggies can somewhat see what they're doing. Fairy lights sound more fun than a night light!

So long as the pigs can’t get to them.
Don’t worry about the darkness though. Eyesight isn’t guinea pigs strongest sense anyway.
