Oh my gosh! They are just gorgeous! I'm about to dissolve into a puddle of soppiness!
I love Mali's freckly face!
Just wondering Where's Mum?

Aww thank you!

I think they are very cute - especially the two little ones.

Was worried Mali was going to squash them..........

Oh I see. So was the family split at the rescue or are you saying they're not actually related? Sorry, I'm confused!

No worries!

Mali is my neutered boar - we've had Mali nearly a year and his companion died a few months ago

The babies are from two different litters and were boned at the rescue, so no one is related.

They just look like they do :)

Lovely photos, they really do make a wonderful little family. I have a real soft spot for Willow, bless her.

I do too. It's a joy watching her as she learns about life of the bigger two. She's needs a little helping hand but she's getting there!

Honor started Wheeking this morning for the first time at breakfast. Willow was trying to copy her so was letting out baby wheeks but not quite getting it right! Very cute

Ah bless. My piggy lost his brother a few weeks ago now. He is also really laid back. Have been considering if he would want a new friend, although he seems to be enjoying the peace :hmm:

Aww you should. It was lovely to see Mali's wee face when he saw them.

Having babies takes some getting used to though. Willow didn't know what a food bowl was (She'd stand and sleep in it) or how to use a water bottle. It's lovely watching her learn from the bigger two though x

I am very torn at the mo, think maybe me and the kids need a wee bit longer to get over loosing Peanut :(, also need to solve Caramels medical issues first. But it is a consideration, especially if best for Caramel.:))
Ah, I remember that, seems like yesterday. We had to put some water in a bowl for Caramel, as we thought he would never learn how to drink from a bottle.

It's so hard to make the decision.

We lost our Aspen suddenly and the vet told us to get Mali a companion almost immediately due to him being only one. So the next week we got the babies- they were in quarantine for two weeks and then we introduced them last week. Mali is much happier but it feels far too soon for us but it's best for him.

I think thats why we got two, so it didn't seem like a straight replacement for Aspen.

You'll get there. Is Caramel ok? Xx

You did the right think, and look how happy those two babies are now too:luv:.
He is doing ok thanks. We think it could be cystitis, after xrays did not show any stones. But he is doing really well at the moment and eating like a horse:tu:

Aww glad to hear is doing better - I always think their appetite shows how well they are doing.

I didn't know that males could get cystitis - don't know why I thought it was just a girl thing!

Hope he continues to get on fine :)
