Oh disappointing because she seemed keen when I mentioned it - she has put some piggies up on preloved!
Iggy is doing quite well, calmed down quite a lot. Doesn't scurry straight into his hidey house when I go in to see him. I am bribing him with cucumber and apple. He is now eating loads and loads and loads. Can't get enough of the hay. I think this is how I will befriend him, he has started to come and wait by the door for his breakfast and dinner. He will now also squeak when I groom him. He is still easily startled but doing well for a piggy that had barely been handled this time next week. Thinking about getting him a little friend but not sure exactly how old Iggy is - maybe about 6 months? - and had heard that it was better to wait until after guinea pig puberty before introducing another boar. I don't think I could put him through the stress of being neutured so it would have to be another boar and not a sow.
