Farewell beautiful Bertie 🌈💔

Today we said farewell to our beautiful Bertie boy. You came to us with your skinny pig pal Jellybaby 5.5 years ago. Whilst Jelly zoomied around at top speed you were always more regal and dignified perfecting the art of effortless movement. When we lost Jelly, you pined with us and made room in your palace for handsome Hutch. By this time, as two old men together, wheeks became croaks, zoomies required at least two naps en route, the pop in popcorn was a bit too much effort and a lift was required onto the carrot house roof but you found companionship and you kept him firmly in his place as underpig to King Bert. Tragically we lost handsome Hutch just 3 short weeks ago and although you seemed to get a new lease of life it was short lived with the reoccurrence of a stubborn inoperable abscess. After making the devastating decision to help you to the bridge, we spent your last couple of days showering you with love and treats. I hope you know how much we loved you and what a huge hole you have left in our hearts and our home. We are truly heartbroken Popcorn free with Jelly and Hutch my beautiful Bertie and thank you for bringing such joy into our lives
