My gorgeous sow Darling passed over the bridge during the night

I will miss her so much.... I will miss her grumbles when I stroke her back... And her head butt's when I stroke her head.... and her husboar is missing her more than me

Well, the good news (if any news can be good in these circumstances) is, that I have made enquiries at several rescues ( I was anticipating a wait so, decided not to put all my eggs in one basket).

I have had 3 replies already and Reuben will be visiting Cavy Corner this evening for his 1st bonding session.
I suspect he will be difficult to bond (he fell out with one of my sows a few years ago) so, it may be long haul but hopefully Reuben won't be on his own for too long
