There's something missing in my home,
I feel it day and night,
I know it will take time and strength
before things feel quite right.

But just for now, I need to mourn,
My heart... it needs to mend.
Though some may say,
"It's just a pet,"
I know I've lost a friend.

You've brought such laughter to my home,
and richness to my days.
A constant friend through joy or loss
with gentle, loving ways.

Companion, friend, and confidante,
A friend I won't forget.
You'll live forever in my heart,
My sweet, forever pet.

- Susanne Taylor

We miss you.

Thank you all. I am moved by your thoughts and words.
Days are not getting any easir, we are missing our little angel very much but I keep hoping that soon we will be able to think of her without this deep pain staining her memory.
Again, thank you all, it does really help knowing my hubby, Lenticchia, and I are in a safe place where we can share our true feelings.

It is really early days yet. The pain at the moment will be so raw and visceral, but it does lessen in time. Grief is complex and we go through all the stages at varying times, everyone's grief is unique there is no right or wrong way to feel. But you will slowly heal and the pain will ebb away and happy memories will feel the void you are feeling at the moment.
Take time to be kind to yourselves. From reading both yours and your hubbys posts, I can tell your piggies had a wonderful loving home

I kept getting really clear visions and like my heart skipping what felt like 2 or 3 beats when my old pig pip died. When he went into senior stages of his life. I kept thinking to myself, what will i do when he goes.i hurt for months after he passed away blaming myself for his bladder stone. But it did gwt easier after a while. Now i can think about where i found him gone, and picture it and it doesnt hurt much anymore. Trust me you will get there.

Hello guys.
How are you doing. x
Hi David, we are still trying to hold it together, thanks. How are you and the piggies?
Lenticchia is still trying to adjust to the situation but slowly moving forward, I am pretty sure we will start looking for a new friend soon. Finger crossed!
